Cloud Atlas Book Review. My thoughts on David Mitchells amazing novel Cloud Atlas. This book spans centuries with five inter-connected stories - both literally and thematically - of the triumph of humanity over adversity and intolerance.
The author himself has lived in Italy Japan and Ireland to name a few places. The stories span several centuries beginning in the 19th century and ending with a post-apocalyptic future. Not on its quality which is nigh on near impossible to fault nor its entertainment value which is high.

Mitchells latest consists of six narratives set in the historical and recent pasts and imagined futures. No the arguments will come when somebody. Because two of the books six narratives take place in the future Cloud Atlas is classified as a science fiction novel but it certainly doesnt read like one. The book consists of six stores spanning six lifetimes and hundreds or maybe thousands of years.
