Binturong. The Binturong is a medium sized carnivore that is found inhabiting the dense forests of South-East Asia. They belong to the same family as other small carnivores including Civets Genets Mongooses and Fossa and share a number of characteristics with them including a long snout and having more teeth than most other carnivorous mammals.

Its face has a striking resemblance with a fox while the body looks like a small bear with an elongated tail like a monkey. A civet of Southeast Asia with a long prehensile tail. Its body is like that of a bear and its face resembles that of a cat thus it has the nickname bear cat.
The binturong uses its tail like a fifth limb when climbing trees.
